It sways it grooves it attacks & it lingers; its dark and its real and haunts you with danger. Its gone when you need it, & returns when you fear it most. It seduces you, it breaks your heart—and then it fades away...

On a diet of David Lynch and sweaty backstage greenrooms the TV Heart Attack saga continues with their latest recording ‘Lost in the Sway’.

The band had one thing in mind holed up at The Farm Studios during the harshest winter Vancouver had seen in decades. Blow away all expectations. From the vulnerable rocker single ‘A/O’ to the haunting ‘Wolves’ this is an unrelenting collection of songs that delves deeper and harder into the psyche of what made the self-titled debut resonate with such clarity.

Since their formation in late 2005 TV Heart Attack has released a critically acclaimed independent debut album, showcased their notorious live sets at Virgin and NXNE Music Festival, and have shared the stage with such notable acts as The Killers, The Von Bondies, The French Kicks, 54-40, and Art Bergman.

The first single off their debut album, 'Hypnotic Eyes', was a radio favorite in the summer of 2007, leading the band on several Canadian tours.

"(TVHA) are based in three decades of influence and the result is a fresh and comfortable take on the new sounds of 2010" —Live n' Loud Magazine

“A highly addictive, self-titled debut CD" —The Globe and Mail

"Unhyphenated rock music that harks back to the stadium-fillers of prior decades, from glam-era David Bowie to grunge pioneers Nirvana"—The Georgia Straight

Do you remember that feeling you got when you were a kid and you fell and scraped your knee? Yeah, or that feeling when you wake up in the middle of the night scared for no reason? Or how about when you are at your girlfriend's parents house for the first and you are peeing and trying to not make and splashy pee noise? And how bout driving home after that first date asking yourself, "Why didn't I try to kiss her?" Those sounds, those feelings, those moments, that reality, that is Matt, Marty, Sam and Weezee of Sweetheart!

(By Mike Archer from Abbotsford Today.) Fields of Green (F.O.G.) is a band well worth listening to. Kyle Tubbs, born and raised in Langley, is the guitarist and vocalist for the band which has recorded its first CD and is making a name for itself in Kelowna and the Okanagan.

The band, which includes James Nicholson on bass, Johnny Jansen on drums, Kevin Dreger on keys Tubbs on guitar and vocals, has made a name for itself in the Okanagan and is beginning to make waves in Vancouver and beyond.

Their style is reminiscent of Radiohead or some of the better stuff that bands like the Pixies put out. The band has a series of engagements and performances around the Okanagan for the next few months and their CD is scheduled for release January 9, 2010.

Their music is intricate, well-recorded and rewarding to listen to. Songs like ‘A Liquid Mouth’ are layered with a variety of influences and well positioned style changes that keep the listener interested as the song builds. Mostly the music rewards you with a depth of purpose and deft skill that will stand them in good stead when they release their first CD and take on the larger world.

Well worth listening to and well worth watching.

The band records and is produced at Tree Fort Studios.
