Danny Fernandez aka DEF 3 is a Regina Saskatchewan based emcee whose work has paved the way for the provinces Hip Hop scene. His humble and honest approach stands out amongst today's watered down commercial music scene yet still maintains an appeal to all genres. His music represents exactly who he is and where he is from. He is the recipient of several arts boards grants both personal and for his involvement in the community. He's toured Canada extensively and had the oppurtunity to tour Japan and the United States Including Hawaii. In 2008 his album with fellow rapper Moka Only was nominated for WCMA. In 2009 after a 1 month u.s. tour with Legendary west coast Mcee Myka 9 of Freestyle Fellowship and Sole of Anticon he traveled to Texas to perform at Austin's prestigious SXSW Music Festival For the Canadian Hip Hop All-Stars showcase. Days later got on plane and headed to South America for a 3 month journey to record his newest record thanks to Saskatchewan Arts Board and Sask Music. He's performed all types of crowds from award ceremonies, pubs, clubs, galas, festivals to coffee shops and continues with his latest release 'Drumbo'. Weezl is like a Pterodactyl on the turntables swooping and dropping gems on all the party people. Hailing from Edmonton expect the unexpected with a steady mix of the likes of Kool Keith. Well traveled on the greyhound, expect him to roll into Kelowna and rock a show that will have people talking about for years to come!
