OUTWEEK is the UBCO campus trying to encourage acceptance and to promote diversity on its campus and in its community. This is its fourth year. There are a range of events that the university and its groups put together as a way for the campus and the community to engage and have new experiences. Seeing as how the whole week is a big celebration of all orientations and its supporters the OUTWEEK planning committee decided that a good way to end the week of celebrations with a BIG CELEBRATION. This celebration (last year the OUTing and this year HoMoTown) is just one of the ways that UBCO OUTWEEK tries to encourage both students, faculty, and the community to come and support their friends and be among people of like interests.

Mark Mishadow grew up in the Kootenays where for the first time and heard electronic music at Shambhala Music Festival in 2000. Mark plays Bass Heavy Electro and Fidget house music.

He didn't jump into the scene until moving to Kelowna in 2004 were he was inspired to DK. Two years later, Mark picked up his first set records and what taking under the wings of Fly DJs. After four months of practice Mark had his first gig at the The Grateful Fed as DJ Auro and then progressed to playing shows at local party's and night clubs.

Now currently living in Victoria, Mishadow has played show with artists such as DJ Rhiannon, Stickypod Connection, Jon E Industry, DJ Marlee, Dee Bass, DJ Expo, Lyssa, Heidrogen. Mark has residency with Stereo Shift and Retrix Productions.

Isolde N. Barron (Cameron Mackenzie) is a multifaceted theatre artist. Directing credits include: Whale Riding Weather (Zee Zee Theatre), Jocasta (assistant, Studio 58), My Funny Valentine (Thirty Below/ SummerWorks), Nelly Boy (Zee Zee Theatre). Cameron co-created and performed in 20 Minute Drag School, a piece for The Firehall Arts Centre’s BC Buds, keeping his alter ego Isolde N. Barron busy. He is the founder and artistic director of Zee Zee Theatre.  He is a graduate of the theatre program at the University College of the Fraser Valley and Studio 58, and has furthered his training with Pochinko clown master John Turner of “Mump and Smoot”.
