Producer,
song writer, performer, and working entertainer,
Thomas Kjorven has
blended his style through his love for the Blues, Neo Soul, Hip Hop, and
folk music -
"I believe I have found a sound unlike any other". Five albums under
his belt and the winner of the 2011 BC Interior Music Award's "New
artist of the Year" and "Blues Recording of the year" Thomas has created
a name for him self in Western Canada as a dedicated creater, and
performer with his unique brand of music.
Jaclyn Gee has a love for music that could not be touched nor replaced
by any other. As she always says "I strive for success, not fame", she
proves that she is in this for the long run. The 18 year old has a
variety of music that consists of a diverse, melodic and ambiguous sound
that is good for the soul.
She expands her genre so that it is appealing to all crowds. With a
soft jazz touch and the knowledge of Hip Hop and an acoustic wave she her
intertwines the three to make her own sound. Singing since the day she
discovered music, writing has been her escape and way of expression with
the desire to touch the lives around her, hoping that her experiences
will ease the minds that are troubled, and inspire.
She has played numerous shows in BC as well as Calgary and has opened
for acts such as
The Swollen Members, Snak The Ripper, DL incognito and
local underground artists. She has played at many open mics and pubs and
has been featured on
Immaculates album "My Tall Shadow" and has done
numerous performances with him at music festivals such as "Hidden" and
various venues. With a sincere outlook and and open mind to
possibilities that will benefit her music, she is sure to shine her way
through to success...
Kjorven and Gee recently collaborated in an album, BLUE, for which they've
released a pair of music videos.
