Good morning rock fans. It's the morning of the third day at the Peak Performance Camp, I tried to post a blog last night, twice, but it was two am and I kept hitting the back button and losing everything I had typed and as such, I gave up. It's just about 9am here, and we've been up for just about two hours, anyone who knows me knows I am not a morning person. Both Pyper and Quinn were hollering at me this morning and could only lull me from bed with enticements of buffet-style food. The frist day and a half or so were more difficult for people with dietry restrictions, but last night saw a vegetarian entrée and this morning had soy AND rice milk (after Pypstar and I went into town last night and already picked up some soy). It's all very exciting.

There's been some mad karma already. Our bedroom shares one of those double-locked-from-the-inside-but-open-if-you're-friends-doors doors. Right after we set up our rooms, I ran into Quinn's to steal a nightstand for my private espresso machine. Immediately after placing it into our room, I picked up my machine and my espresso carafe fell back in to the box it came from and shattered like any hope of finding a signal for my BlackBerry...

I've just recieved my first espresso, it's called a Mars Bar and it tastes like burning right now, but I'm sure when the pain subsides it will be one of the most delicious things I've had all week! Other highlights have included the world's second longest zipline (twice!), afternoon and midnight swims with an iPod dance party, great keynote speakers, way too much walking up hills, hilarious questions and the fact that it looks like Ray Ban is sponsoring the event because everyone is in Wayfarers.

Last night saw performances from Jackson Cook, Wassabi Collective, TÉA, and Bend Sinister. Some amazing shows. Jackson Cook is only 15, and blew my mind. Our judging panel includes the Barney Bentall and some of his invaluable advice and admiration seems to have gone a long way with these bands, can't wait to see the showcase tonight!

Joe Schweers and I have been filming as much as we can every day since we're expected to upload one short video a day. I've attached the video thusly, we'll see you guys soon!
