Well, today is the very last full day here at Rock Ridge. I was trying to think what to write about today but I'm finding myself at a loss for words. First of all, I'm going to miss this beautiful place. Tonight a double rainbow came out after the rain and it was only around for a few minutes but it was beautiful enough to make everyone get up from their delicious dinner to go outside and check it out. The staff here are so awesome as well - kudos to the kitchen staff especially and thank you for the extra 10 pounds around my middle.

Most importantly, I'm going to miss the people that I met during the past week. It seems like we just really got to know each other and now we have to leave! Everyone has been so friendly, positive, and loving and I can't wait for all of the bands/artists to pay a visit to the Habitat. You all are so creative and talented and I feel so privileged to have been able to share this experience with you.

Yesterday I think I found my new favorite artist - Adrian Glynn. I think I had a lump in my throat for his entire performance last night. I can't wait to hear more from him! TV Heart Attack, Garrett Kato, and Familia also put on an awesome show. How did I get so lucky to be able to listen to all these amazing artists night after night?

Tonight's showcase includes Bodhi Jones, Freeflow, Run The Red Light, and Danny Echo. Bodhi is just doing his sound check right now and already I can tell that he might put my new found love for Adrian Glynn to the test.

Tonight we're going ziplining by the moonlight - sort of to signify the end of the project and going off into the unknown with arms wide open, screaming at the top of your lungs. Something really special happened here this week and I think that everyone knows it. Like I said at the beginning - it leaves me at a loss for words. I can't wait to go home, finish school, and officially start my job as Marketing and Promotions Manager for Habitat BUT, I wish we didn't have to leave quite yet.

Enough blogging, I want to make the most out of the rest of this evening and staring at a computer screen is not part of the plan!

Stay wild,

- P.
