Everyone you talk to will have an opinion on Prohibition. Whether one is for it or against it, we are all entitled to our opinion.
Isn't it great that we live in a country where you are allowed to speak out freely? I thought so too!

Unfortunately, it seems that this freedom becomes conditional depending on your employer.
A police officer who supports the legalization of marijuana was barred from speaking at a harm reduction conference by the Victoria Police Department. (I should mention this was to be an off-duty speech)
As a result, the British Columbia Civil Liberties Association (BCCLA) filed a complaint with the Victoria Police Board.

The reason I bring this to you, our like minded peeps, is that it's still not too late to fight for our right to speak out - regardless of who you work for! I like to think we are socially aware individuals who are not afraid to protest and sign petitions. So, here's your chance!

By signing below, you are telling our government that you believe Police Officers are entitled to publicly speak their opinions - just like the rest of us!
