This past week has been one of highs and lows. Last night as I was preparing for my much needed two week vacation, amidst the "hurry-up-and-wait" of laundry, cleaning, and packing; I suddenly found my thoughts pouring out onto paper. At first conception, it was a poem reflective of my personal life, but as I read it, I feel like it applies to my Habitat life as well.
If you have been keeping up to date with Habitat, you are probably aware of our pursuit for a License which allows our Business to operate as intended; One without Ambiguous and Grey terms which are left up to interpretation by all parties. All I want is to do what I love, and Love what I do.
This poem is about a dream of Black and White, and Clarity, to wash away This Grey.

This Grey

Through the Oceans

            Of the Mind

Out Screaming Eyes

            Tell Secrets Blind

Upon a shipwreck

            Rests this Dream

Of Black and White

            And Calm Glass Seas

That One Might Act

            Or Do, Or Say

The Things, Or Words

            To Wash this Grey.
