Last week I had the opportunity to work with Rotary International to put on a Fundraiser here at The Habitat to help rid the world of Polio.
The event was called BINGO Night In Canada. People came out and had a fun night of BINGO with MC and Host Alya Ramadan of CBC Radio 1 (Thank-you Alya!!) and we were able to raise over $1,300 for the project!
Through a deal with Rotary International, Bill Gates will be matching this money raised Dollar for Dollar! As a result, we raised enough money to inoculate over 3,220 kids with the Polio vaccine! One step closer in the fight for a world free of the devastation of Polio - Thanks to you and everyone who contributed to making this night a success!
A special thanks to Windborn (www.windborn.ca) who was our musical guest for the night, and to Dayna Radawetz (My client and friend) who approached me with the idea of a BINGO night, and a heart to make a difference in the world around her. Thank-you Dayna for putting so much hard work into this event and making it a success in more ways than one!

If you are interested in continuing the fight, you can make donations at the Rotary Internation web site. http://www.rotary.org/en/EndPolio/Pages/ridefault.aspx. (And as I mentioned before, all donations received through Rotary International will be matched Dollar for Dollar by Bill gates!)

If you feel passionate about bringing positive change to our community, country, or world, contact me with your ideas. No cause is too great or too small!
Much Love,

MJ
