The Oh Wells began with acne, corrective dental wear, and the inability to look the opposite sex in the eye without panicking and/or falling in love. That’s “oh well” as in: “The boy I wrote these songs about probably thinks I’m gross…oh well!” Nuuka's aim is to provide a soundtrack for that road trip, dance party, walk in the sun, sleepless night, airport layover, Vancouver City bus ride, and of course, live show!

Winnipeg is known as the “Heart of the Continent.” In this beating heart on the prairies, there is always new music being made: in its clubs and basements, and in between work and life. Imaginary Cities was born in a club called The Cavern, in between sets. This new group, founded in a chance meeting is now readying to introduce their debut album, Temporary Resident in early 2011.

The Wooden Sky
are a Canadian indie rock band based in Toronto, Ontario. The band recorded their latest album, 'If I Don't Come Home, You'll Know I'm Gone' in late 2008 and early 2009 in Montreal with producer Howard Bilerman (Arcade Fire, Thee Silver Mt. Zion, Basia Bulat). This record, released on August 25, 2009, saw them push the limits of the folk and country genres that was heard on 'When Lost At Sea' with a more sonic and multi-instrumentally layered aesthetic. Armed with a collection of songs written in the back of the van, in venue parking lots and an icebox of a rehearsal space, Yukon Blonde went into the studio in the summer of 2009 to record their first album- which was recently released in both Canada and USA by Bumstead Records, receiving rave reviews from such publications as Exclaim, Under The Radar and Billboard.
