Greetings Habitat Supporters,
Well, we're going back to City council (again) and we still need your help! We have applied for a Convention Centre Liquor Primary Designation. This license will allow Habitat to operate as a Convention Centre Special Events Facility with a focus on entertainment, art, and culture. It basically means we can be open later and entertain you and (more of) your friends longer.
So... do you want to help?! Here's what you can do:
You can show up in person to the public hearing on Tuesday March 9th, 2010. The meeting starts at 6pm at City Hall. Anyone can speak—you get 5 minutes.
You can write a letter of support and send it to the City Clerk who will circulate it to the Mayor and Council. Any letter must include your name, address, and file number Z09-0027. It is also best to include if you have a property or business that you think might be affected by this new license. Also, anything with a signature carries more weight. Send the letters by e-mail to cityclerk@kelowna.ca or by mail to:

You can fill in the general form letter PDF that you can download and print off below. Just enter your info, change anything you need to, then forward it or copy and paste it into an e-mail.
