Average gypsy
Average gypsy
Vancouver based DJ/production couple, Average Gypsy have quickly climbed the ranks of the underground scene with their undeniably contagious, high energy sets, captivating stage presence and teamwork on the decks. Considering their tireless work ethic and dedication to honing their sound, it’s not surprising that these two have earned a solid reputation for always delivering a topnotch performance. With over 80 shows and 12 music festivals in the past year alone, the duo is starting to capture the attention of a global audience. They've played several shows in the Southern California region and have toured in the US, Spain and Mexico.

With an ear for the music, the transition into production was natural. Average Gypsy have released 6 original tracks and 2 remixes, and released through MalLabel Music, Helitricity Records and Sheppard Records, all within their first two years of producing. Talented equally on the decks as in the studio, Average Gypsy's first Beatport release, "Hot Boi" reached spot #4 in the Top 100 Indie Dance/Nu Disco Releases, and charted in the Top 100 Releases of all genres. Their music can be described as bouncy, 4 to the floor beats, characterized by pretty melodies and deep, wobbly, rolling basslines; heavily influenced by hip hop and the underground bass house music scene. Specializing in Wobble House, G House and Brazilian Bass.

Spend some time with Average Gypsy and you'll quickly learn that they operate out of pure love and integrity. They have recently co-founded The Rise & Shine FamJam Fundraiser, a festival that donates 100% of the proceeds to charity. The love and passion Average Gypsy have for their craft and for each other is undeniable and transcends everything they do!

2011 has seen Phil join forces with the north of England's biggest brand 'Hectik' where he is currently resident every month. Playing for Hectik has taken him all over the UK this year and to Ibiza this summer, gracing the decks in the famous Eden Nightclub and numerous boat parties.

Phil is getting great support from the crowds and gaining a keen following from the scenes main heads, so if you go to one of his shows… expect a high energy set, packed full of exclusive tracks!

Dr Brae
Dr Brae
Dr. Brae, better known as Braeden Souter has been a steezemaster of style since he was just a little pyke. He has been a pioneer of taste since before the dawn of EDM in North America. Having been to all manners of raves when the electronic music scene was first coming up hot, he garnered an acute taste for music and an ear for the party. His ninja awareness of the dance music scene has transcended into his dj style as he caters to just about any crowd with pizazz and class. As a forward thinker, Dr. Brae will prescribe you with a dose of ingenious sonance that will keep you at the tip of your toes and at the filth of the dancefloor.
